2020 was in many ways a challenging year. Facing a global pandemic and various external factors, Sonepar China has yet successfully achieved many targets.
As a need for survival and a building block for the future, we’ve aggressively reduced our operating costs.
With the launch of our new ERP system in May we’ve enhanced the efficiency of our operations and the level of governance.
Today, our business is healthier and more compliant than ever before, which greatly reduces risks for our company and its stakeholders.
Some parts of our businesses have suffered from decline, yet the strong involvement of our business divisions in various key projects and the growth of our telecom business seizing the opportunity of the 5G rise, were key marks of our resilience.
2021 poses its own challenges and opportunities.
We will keep focus and commitment toward the realization of our short term objectives.
I am also confident that we shall also make great progress in our long-term goals including strengthening our corporate team, exploring new collaborations, deepening and expanding our sales and supplier network, upgrading and integrating our supply chain, and accelerating our digitalization processes.
China's electrical distribution market is huge and highly fragmented, and channel integration is also one of the strategic point we will continue to work on.
