Testimonial of Human Resources Director Greater China
2020 was an extraordinary year for everyone at Sonepar.
From working at the office to working from home, from in person meetings to online meetings — the pandemic that started off the year didn’t just affect how our employees commute for work; it also demanded a great deal from everyone on our team in terms of time management and self-management.
For such extraordinary times, safety comes first at Sonepar. We formulated appropriate preventative measures and health guidelines, mobilized resources to provide pandemic-related materials for employees, educated employees about pandemic precautions, and strengthened network security for online office needs. HR tracked daily statistics of employees' travel and health data, and with everyone’s combined efforts, there has not been a single case of COVID-19 infection in Sonepar China to date.
In 2021, we will strive to enhance the digitalization of business management. The newly launched online training and self-service system will provide more comprehensive services to Sonepar China employees and partners in the new year, enhancing the office environment, hardware facilities, and network security services to improve work efficiency. We will refine the corporate organizational structure and division of labor, optimize rules and regulations, and allow for more efficient cross-departmental cooperation.
As we bid farewell to 2020, we welcome a new year, wishing every Sonepar employee and their families health, happiness and self-fulfillment, and wishing our partners success in 2021. Let's look forward to a new chapter of Sonepar's business in China.
