2020 was challenging, but we have the courage and confidence in 2021. In the past year under the guidance of the Group, we adopted the updated Code of Conduct, Whistleblower Policy, Compliance Manual and other important compliance policies and processes in China. Chinese translations are available, and related trainings have been conducted.
Ethics and Compliance is the driving engine for our activities in China. Our stakeholders are all committed to the highest level of ethics. We will also continue strengthening cybersecurity and data protection which are essential for our digital transformation.
In 2021, our Legal & Compliance Team will reinforce the implementation of the Code of Conduct, Compliance Manual and relevant local policies. We will also enhance the application of third party assessment procedures, contribute more to training programs, and continue to support the digitalization programs. We are committed to safeguarding the interests of Sonepar and honored to contribute to the business success as always.
